Wholesome fare and aromatic coffee are the aim of the game at Farro Nourishing Eatery on Station Street in Moorabbin. Whether stopping off for a morning latte on the way to work or dropping by for a healthy lunch, Farro is a friendly, unpretentious café where everyone is welcome and the emphasis is on using local produce. Everything is housemade and at least one or two superfoods feature in each dish, such as raw acai chia pudding with cacao, fresh berries, crispy quinoa puff and toasted coconut chips, as well as the Farro nourishing plate with spiced broccoli, caramelised kale, pumpkin, grain salad and dukkah. Tuck into a warm chicken and grain salad with Lebanese spices, lentils, chickpeas, currants and pomegranate for lunch, washed down by a blueberry smoothie with almond milk.
